Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Are you ready?
Whether you're celebrating this special holiday with friends, family, a significant other, or in the company of yourself, let's make it a day to get a little fancy and enjoy some decadence, shall we?
While some of you may choose to go out on Valentine's Day, I prefer to stay in. After years of working in restaurants and bakeries, I know the craziness of this holiday. From the service side of it, this holiday is not very fun.
So I'll be cooking a romantic vegan meal at home this year. If you're staying in like me, I've made it a little bit easier. I've rounded up some of my favorite Vegan Valentine's Day Recipes from the blog. Here you'll find mouth-watering recipes from breakfast to dessert and everything in between to make it a delicious and decadent day of love.
Vegan Valentine's Day Recipes
Valentine's Day Breakfast
Breakfast in bed or a decadent morning brunch is one of my favorite ways to say, "you are awesome!" By taking the time to cherish breakfast with your loved ones, you are choosing to start the day by slowing down and celebrating what truly matters. Say, "no" to the to-do lists and stressful morning routines and enjoy a delicious Valentine's Day breakfast. Here are a few vegan breakfast recipes to get you started:
- Vegan French Toast
- 10-Minute Chocolate Chip Banana Pancakes
- Bakery-Style Chocolate Chip Muffins
- Vegan Strawberry Muffins
- Easy Vegan Cinnamon Rolls
- Caramelized Onion and Shiitake Mushroom Quiche
Valentine's Day Appetizers
If you're staying in this Valentine's Day, start your romantic evening with a delicious appetizer for two. By taking your time to enjoy a multi-course meal, you are finding ways to be present to your life and those you love. There is no greater gift than that! Here are a few vegan appetizers to start off your romantic dinner.
- Cranberry Vegan Meatballs
- Creamy Spinach Artichoke Dip
- Cauliflower Queso
- Smoked Jalapeño Cheddar Cheese Ball

Valentine's Day Soups & Salads
After appetizers, it's time for the soup and/or salad. This course is perhaps my favorite of a multi-course. With so much variety, soups and salads are the perfect way to add fresh flavor and vegetables into your vegan Valentine's Day meal. Here are a few of my favorite soup and salad recipes:
- Creamy Tomato Soup with Homemade Croutons
- Vegetable Noodle Soup

So good! Here are a few of my favorite simple yet delicious Valentine's Day entrée recipes.
- Penne Pasta alla Vodka

Valentine's Day Desserts
We've made it to dessert! Any rich and decadent meal such as this one should end with a fine vegan dessert. As a former pastry chef, I know about the importance of decadent desserts. Think chocolate, fudgy, rich, creamy, and melt-in-your-mouth good. I've been perfecting the art of vegan desserts for over a decade now and here are a few of my favorite vegan Valentine's Day dessert recipes:
- Molten Lava Cake
- Flourless Chocolate Cake
- Pots de Creme

May I have the recipe for the flourless chocolate cake? I believe the picture depicted a garnish of raspberries.
Thank you.

Since my parents are visiting this valentine's day, I want to prepare something special. This post is very timely as this is what I was looking for. Thank you for sharing this. I am leaning towards preparing Mushroom Stroganoff and hot fudge espresso cake.
