Ice Cream Base
Raw Caramel Sauce
  1. The night before place your ice cream mixer bowl in the freezer.
  2. To make the ice cream base, drain and rinse the cashews. Place them in a high-powered blender with the almond milk and blend until completely smooth. Add the remaining ice cream ingredients and blend until well combined. Transfer to a shallow container, cover, and chill base for at least 2 hours.
  3. Churn ice cream according to manufacturer's instructions.
  4. While ice cream is churning make the caramel sauce. Drain and rinse the cashews and place them in a food processor or high-powered blender with the remaining caramel ingredients. Process until completely smooth.
  5. Once ice cream is desired consistency, add caramel sauce to ice cream and churn for a few more seconds.
  6. For best results serve immediately. Or transfer ice cream to a shallow container, cover, and store in the freezer. Allow 15 minutes for ice cream to thaw before eating.
