This vegan Chocolate Raspberry Martini is the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and tell your loved one how much they mean to you.
Happy Friday, friends.
On Wednesday we kicked off our Valentine’s Day celebrations with my Penne Pasta with Vodka Cream Sauce. Today we are continuing the celebration of love with this vegan Chocolate Raspberry Martini. So who’s ready to get this weekend started off with a little booze and a lot of love?
I know I am!
2016 was a year that taught me significant lessons about love, hope, and endurance. After the painful divorce I went through in 2015, I became deeply aware and grateful for the people in my life who show me love every day. There was never a time (unless I chose to be) that I was alone as I grieved the loss of my marriage. And now, nearly 2 years later, I am a healthier, more authentic version of myself, surrounded by the most unconditional love I have ever experienced.
And while I never want to take the love I have received for granted, the truth of it is, I sometimes do.
For that reason, I am appreciative of the holidays that remind us of the importance of relationships, commitment, trust, and forgiveness and all the many other ways that love can be given. And so this Valentine’s Day I want to say a special thanks to my friends and family who have helped me heal through their love.
I’m not typically a fan of sweet cocktails but there are a few times a year when exceptions must be made. And a cold February evening after a delicious meal of Cauliflower Steaks and Caesar Salad, while sitting around a fire and talking with your closest friends and family is the perfect exception to this rule.
